It’s been a while…
I could easily make the excuse that school’s been keeping me busy, (it has) but it isn’t the whole truth.
And I’m tired of lies, especially ones I tell myself.
So here goes…
Really, it’s because of fear.
Alright, yep, I finally admitted it. (I can sigh in relief now)
When I first began this blog, I didn’t have to worry about people reading whatever I posted. I didn’t have any readers. It was more for me anyways, to say I was actually doing something with my writing (which didn’t really happen).
But then people actually looked at my blog, liked it, followed it. Suddenly, the blog grew its own shadow and I couldn’t escape it. I grew scared to write.
It’s weird, I know. Writers write to have things read, right?
I have to get used to people reading my writing (even the nonsensical musings on this blog).
I don’t want to give up on this blog. I’ve given up on too many things, but writing I want to keep. So, thanks with sticking with me this far.
There’s a quote I like from Kurt Vonnegut. He said, “Write to please just one person. If you open a window and make love to the world, so to speak, your story will get pneumonia.”
I feel like I need to go back to how it was before, writing for myself. If no one likes it, fine. If someone likes it, fine. Either way, it won’t stop me from writing.
This is way overdue, but let’s make this an awesome year!
Have you ever wanted to stop writing or something else you loved to do?
Nice to hear from you again, Ameteal! Nice quote. And it’s true — you’ve got to write for yourself. The other way never works. 🙂

I very glad to hear from you as well. And sure, sometimes I want to write so very badly, I literally can’t write a thing. Very weird. But hey, go with the flow of weirdness or whatever good wind is blowing.

Thanks a lot! Here’s to going with the flow of weirdness (<–I liked that a lot ^-^)

The pictures are so cute 😀
As a child, I used to play the original pokemon games, but I stopped around ruby and sapphire. It’s amazing how far the series went.
The last pokemon related thing that I did outside the official series was playing Pixelmon on minecraft. I liked the freedom of doing whatever I wanted to do and raising whatever pokemon I wanted to regardless of the place that I was venturing.
So, writing is about venturing about strange places without knowing everything. It might be scary at first, but with some small steps, a writer can navigate this strange place.

Thanks ^_^
I’ve always been a big Pokémon fan (even though everyone tells me to grow up).
But you’re right, we can’t stay afraid of the unknown. Thanks again.

How absolutely fantastic to see you on the blog page again. Don’t let what you do or what you write on this space ever be scary. Each one of us have their own special writing voice. Use it for whatever. In effect that’s what I did with WordPress. I was scared of simply being ME…Now Passionate Creative Christian sort of tells it and there is no escape. I simply am who I am. Your sentences are not under scrutiny on your blog…..it’s all about your joy for life, your living and your beauty. Please keep blogging WHATEVER.

Thanks Faye! You don’t know how much your words mean to me. I guess this is just my struggle trying to find what my writing voice is.
So many thanks to you!
